What's New: IE Patch Rushed Out Two Weeks Early
Microsoft has released a patch for Internet Explorer versions 6, 7, and 8 two weeks early after they discovered increased exploitation of several of the vulnerabilities in recent days. All told, the update fixes 10 security flaws in IE 6, seven in IE 7, but only three flaws in IE 8. Clients with ITS TeamCare will get the update applied automatically after it passes our testing. Otherwise we recommend clients plan to install it on all PCs as soon as possible, especially if the PCs are using older web browsers.
