April 2017 marks the official end of Microsoft's support for Windows Vista, however, companies are increasingly dropping support for Vista. Microsoft has not released any updates to Windows Update on Vista, meaning updates are so slow to install that it can take over 24 hours to check and install updates, causing the computer to run slowly 24x7. Adobe does not offer a version of Adobe Reader that runs on Vista...Reader X will work but is past end of life so should be considered insecure, and removed.
