What's New: Dell Guilty Of Fraud

Dell was found guilty of fraud by a New York court on Tuesday, for failing to provide promised technical support or advertised financial terms. The Supreme Court in Albany County found that Dell failed to provide promised technical support by repeatedly transferring callers or having long hold times, and failing to provide contracted "next-day" support for as long as a year after the incident was reported. The court also found that Dell and affiliate Dell Financial Services advertised special no-interest financing terms but then denied almost everyone those terms, sometimes without informing them and then charging higher interest rates.
