What's New: New Palm Treo Runs Windows

Palm Inc. unveiled a new Treo model, due out early next year, based on Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0. This is a big change for Palm which has traditionally only used their own handheld operating system. Palm and Microsoft say the new device will allow professionals to connect to their Exchange mailbox and run Windows applications on the device, which combines the capabilities of a phone, PDA, and handheld.
