What's New: Zotob Worm Authors Arrested

Two people in Turkey and Morocco have been arrested for writing the Zotob worms that were released just two weeks ago, as well as the Rbot and Mytob worms released earlier this year. Microsoft investigators, the FBI, and local authorities in Turkey and Morocco teamed up to arrest Atilla Ekici, 21, of Turkey and Farid Essebar, 18, of Morocco. Investigators reportedly received no major tip-off but used information from Microsoft that monitored the behavior of the worms to track them to their origin.
