What's New: Apple Switches to Intel
In a long-rumored move, Apple announced today they will have Macintosh systems available using Intel CPUs by the end of 2007. Apple today showed a preview of MacOS X running on an Intel-based Mac, along with a developer toolkit to aid in porting programs to the new platform.
