What's New: Blackberry Shutdown 2.0?
Following a widely publicized showdown in March of this year, Research In Motion settled with plaintiff NTP to avoid a service interruption. Now, a company named Visto has come forward claiming that the Blackberry service violates four of their patents as well. Three of the four patents were involved in a similar case Visto recently won against Seven Networks. Visto says it delayed its suit against RIM pending the conclusion of other lawsuits and RIM's impending shutdown in March.
