What's New: Windows 2000 "mainstream" support ends June 30

The "mainstream" support phase for Windows 2000 Server and Windows 2000 Professional ends June 30, 2005. Per their lifecycle policy, Microsoft will continue to supply security updates for five more years. An "Update Rollup" is planned for release in mid-2005, that incorporates all security updates since Service Pack 4's release.
