Shared Signature: Getting Started

This document provides information about the basic functions needed to utilize your new Shared Hosting account. This is an excellent resource for new Shared Hosting users. You will also want to become acquainted with the online Help Documents located in the Help Section of the Control Panel. By studying the Help Documents located on the Control Panel you can become an expert administrator on your Shared Hosting account.

1. Connecting to your Shared Hosting Account
You can access your New Shared Hosting account from any Web browser. Follow our simple step-by-step instructions to connect to the Control Panel.

2. Tour the Control Panel
As a new customer, it is important for you to become familiar with the Shared Hosting Control Panel. The Control Panel contains useful interfaces, and diagnostic tools that will help you manage your Shared Hosting account. Instructions and information can be found in the Help docs.

3. Uploading Content to your Shared Hosting Account
There are several methods to upload website content and files to your Shared Hosting account. Follow our simple step-by-step instructions to upload content to your new account.

4. Creating E-mail and FTP User Accounts
You have the ability to add/delete e-mail aliases, e-mail POP accounts, and FTP user accounts. Follow our simple step-by-step instructions to Add/Delete e-mail and FTP users.

5. Set Up E-Mail Client Software for POP/SMTP
Help on POP/SMTP setup is in the online help under Getting Started, then "Accessing Your Email Account Through a Third Party Email Client." The POP and SMTP server settings to use are in the control panel on the left menu, under Preferences and Settings/Profile & Usage Summary.
